Organization
EIS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Prüfungsverband deutscher Banken e.V.. Its purpose is to take the action envisaged in connection with deposit guarantee schemes.
LEGAL FORM
EIS (Einlagensicherungs- und Treuhandgesellschaft mbH) is a limited liability company entered in the commercial register of Cologne Local Court (HRB 7291). The civil law framework within which it operates is determined by its legal form and articles of association.
